You can also choose between bone-in, boneless, or wing, and your order comes with a side of either their sweet soy, hot spicy, or signature original sauce. They’ve got several different flavours you can choose from, including their Original, Snow Cheese Ppurio, and Pelicana Spicy Signature. They fry their chicken in fresh and new oil everyday, and they source all-natural, non-GMO, and cage-free chickens. They were established back in 1982 in Daejeon, South Korea, and they now have over 2,000 stores around the world. Pelicana Chicken is probably one of the oldest franchises on this list – they’ve been around since the ’80s! The popular North York spot has all the cool industrial vibes, and they’ve also got a heated patio for the chillier months. You’ll also find an extensive drink menu with plenty of beer, cocktails, and Korean liquors (including flavoured makgulli). The most unique item on their menu is their epic Cheese Volcano Chicken, which features fried chicken breast atop of rose sauce, surrounding a bread bowl filled with mozzarella and cheddar fondue. Their restaurant is also space-themed, which is super fun and cute.Ĭhicken in the Kitchen is a KFC chain based out of Seoul, and you can find their bustling spot by Yonge & Finch. You can choose between boneless or bone-in chicken, and they’ve got all the classic flavours like Soy Garlic, Green Onion, and Cheese Snow.ĭefinitely grab their Garlic Butter Fries if you’re looking to enjoy a side with your KFC! This unassuming Korean fried chicken spot is situated on Eglinton West, and you’ll find some of the best KFC in Toronto here. LOCATION: 4186 Finch Ave E Unit 28, Scarborough, ON You can find them in a plaza by Midland & Finch, AKA Asian food heaven. This casual KFC takeout joint in Scarborough serves up a delish and unique selection of Korean fried chicken, from Creamy Garlic, to Spicy Peanuts, to Burning Hell. If you’re looking for flavours outside of the typical ones you’ll find in Korean fried chicken restaurants, stop into Drunken Chicken. They’ve also got some pretty great specials throughout the week: half-priced chicken feet on Mondays and half-priced wings + drink on Tuesdays!ĭakgogi has one location downtown by Yonge & Wellesley and one location in North York by Yonge & Finch. They’ve also got a bunch of fry options that are perfect for pairing with yo’ KFC, including Kimchi Fries with Spicy Pork and Bulgogi Fries. Opt for their sweet and spicy Yang Nyeom Chicken (you can choose the spice level) or their delicious Hot Soy Garlic Chicken. They don’t have a ton of flavours to choose from, but what they’ve got is still v delicious. The Fry has several locations across the GTA, including in Koreatown, by Yonge & Wellesley, and in Roncesvalles. They have a limited amount of flavours to choose from, but you’ll find classics like their Green Onion Chicken or their Soy Garlic Chicken. This Toronto-based Korean fried chicken spot opened up over a decade ago near Yonge & Finch, and they now have almost a dozen locations across Ontario. LOCATION: 9 Spring Garden Ave, North York, ON You can find MyMy in North York near Yonge & Sheppard, and they also have a location in Thornhill. If you’re into liquors instead, you can opt for a bottle of soju or makgulli (Korean rice wine)! Korean fried chicken goes perfectly with a pint of beer, and you’ll find a selection of local and imported beers. This South Korean chain fries up exclusively fresh chicken for their KFC, with a wide array of flavours from their Honey Garlic Chicken to their Seasoned Spicy Chicken.ĭefinitely go for the half and half so you can try two different flavours of chicken!
